When we first listened to Paul's new songs, we were so impressed that we decided to release an album. Great songs deserve the best production; the quality should be of an exceptional level.
So we asked Héctor Pérez:
a very talented producer and arranger to create new arrangements for these songs. He did a great job. And thanks to him, we went to the best places to record:
First, he recommended a drummer, José Mena:
Graduated with honours in the Musician's Institute of London and Magna cum Laude of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he performed live with such artists like The Blues Machine, Spanish Tour With Bruce Ewan, German Tour With Bernd Voss Quintet, And punctual jobs With Jorge Drexler, Kiko Veneno, Siempre Así,...
and the guitar player Bernd Voss:
He has been one of the most requested german studio musicians, A Man With A Profound Background Both In Pop And Classical Music. He has made his mark not only through his session work for The Likes Of Dionne Warwick, Bonnie Tyler, Umberto Tozzi And Others, ....And has been playing Tv Shows Like "el Programa De Carlos Herrera" For Tve Y “ Buenas Noches Bienvenidos” “1001 Noches” And “bienaventurados” For Canal Sur And Andalucía Tv. Recently he has been arranging, composing and producing for New Spanish Artists Like Fernando Arduan, Chenoa…
He found also the excellent bass player Manolo Nieto, José Ramón Ramos (very sensitive sax soprano), and the virtuous violinist from Sevilla Sinfonietta, with the coordinator Ramón Sanmillán.
He also recommended Ruben Morán
who placed wonderful sax phrases in different songs.
After an intense carrier as a saxophonist, arranger and producer, Ruben Morán has joined the top class musicians. Arranger and interpreter in all sort of bands and styles, supporting artist for BB King and Maceo Parker, he has recently graduated from the Berklee Collage of Music (Boston) getting his degree in Contemporary Writing and Production.
Thanks to his advice we had the chance to record the choir and the gospel in Los Angeles with the “Maestro” Rick Logan: Through the years, Rick has become one of the most highly sought after singers in LA. Héctor arranged the L.A recording sessions in the studios Watersound & Afterhours,

In February 2006, Sardina received his 10th Grammy for Luis Miguel's Mexico en la Piel at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards. Last year Warner superstar, Alejandro Sanz' album "No Es Lo Mismo," recorded by Sardina, won Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Album and last but not least, it took a trophy for Best-engineered album. This year, Mr Sanz won Best song and Best Record of the year for "Tu No Tienes Alma," recorded by Sardina who earned two Latin Grammy Awards in 2000 for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album by Luis Miguel --"Amarte Es Un Placer" for WEA Intl. Subsequent Grammy nominations for Miguel's albums have followed in the years 2001 to 2003 and most recently for "33" in 2004.
The final mix has been realized in the Sound Farm Studio in Dos Hermanas (Seville) by Eduardo Ruíz and Héctor Pérez and Marcos Molina (studio assistant Seville).
At last, the mastering has been executed by the “Chief Mastering Engineer” Ted Jensen of Studio M1, Sterling Sound from New York. who won in 2002 the first-ever Grammy awarded for mastering.
Kenny Charles, good friend of Paul, has been the special advisor for the recording sessions in Seville. Meeting up with Kenny Charles was great: Kenny brought the best out of paul and encouraged him profusely. Thanks to the energy of this man, Paul embarked on this new adventure.
We had a fantastic team to prepare the photos sessions:
Laura Ramírez (Make-up)
Wayne Chasan (photography)
Azad (Hairdresser)
Carmelo “Lino” P. Romano (Webmaster - Internet Consultant)
We want to mention Mr Povl Lautrup of Wingrove Music, probably Paul's biggest fan. He is always encouraging Paul to go that little bit further. Mr Lautrup has become a very dear friend of Paul. Almost like a father, he always believed in Paul and thanks to his great experience, he has made a beautiful dream come true.
Now everything is ready, but do not forget that is was only possible thanks to the original really high quality demonstrated and desired by Paul. He is particularly amazing!
